Merry Christmas Eve! We hosted Christmas Eve for my wife’s side of the family. For the potluck, we roasted a turkey (alton brown’s brined turkey). I cooked an apple pie, and Irene made her annual eggnog  gingerbread trifle. There was some great Chinese food too: meatballs, short ribs, mushrooms. The party is getting bigger and bigger. There’s a new generation of kids. So, there’s more presents than usual this year. Auntie Sophia brought laser tag guns and silly games. Dave brought pitch pipe whistles to toot songs. Irene’s mom and dad and their siblings come over with their kids and grandkids. Family pictures. Liu sisters. Tang siblings. Each family with grandparents, children and grandkids.
