I have discovered that I want more out of life. I’ve begun a journey to find my passions and pursue them, mash them with work experience and help others to do the same.

Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA in 1993, with an emphasis in Thermal and Power Generation

Favorite Book: Happiness Project, by Gretchen Rubin. Changed my life. *Influenced my blog name.

First Triathlon: Strawberry Fields Sprint Triathlon, Oxnard, California, 2006. *Swim was cancelled due to rip current. Freak out.

First Long Course Triathlon: Wildflower Long Course 2009. Paso Robles, CA

First Full Ironman: Ironman Mont Tremblant 2016. North of Quebec, Canada. Video Journey of Ironman, by Zack Johnson

Favorite Race: Vineman (now called IM 70.3 Santa Rosa).

Favorite Swim: Loop around Naples Island at Belmont Shore in Long Beach, CA.

Favorite Bike: Descending Back side of Glendora Mountain Road (GMR). Not too steep, no cars. breath-taking scenery.

Favorite Food: Coffee Ice Cream, Fosselmans.

    1. I’m not much of a runner. I do like to swim and bike. I had a bout of plantar fasciitis which has recently hampered my running training. But I’m slowly bringing it back up. Thanks for the well wishes. I need it. Cheers!
