i love the sunrise.

it’s the promise of a new day. it’s peaceful and colorful. the birds are still waking up.

these are pictures from this morning’s run at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

here in LA we don’t always have clouds, but when we do, the sunrises are spectacular. the natural beauty.

yeah, it’s cold (40°F in LA is cold). yeah, it starts out dark. but, when the dawn breaks a whole fresh new day is here.

i bless the Lord in the morning. crank up the praise music and elevate the spirit.
