I rode with friends up the Angeles Forest Hwy. We started at Sport Chalet at La Canada. It was all climbing. The first straight away is 8-9% and it doesn’t let up. It was a beautiful morning with lovely clouds. We regrouped at Clear Creek for 2 seconds then carried on. We rode up the switchbacks to Redbox. I flipped it and rode back down to get to my son’s soccer game. The decent was down right chilly. The rest of the group proceeded to Newcomb’ Ranch, Cloud Burnt. Some even made the epic loop across to Crystal Lake, and down the Hwy39.
Random: There was a peacock on the way to the ride this morning.
Random2: Couldn’t resist shooting the sunrise through the palm trees; it was so LA.
