Here’s a beautiful time lapsed video of the hot air balloons in Santa Fe. 17 years ago, I rode in a hot air balloon on my honeymoon. At the time, it wasn’t that great. I’m 6′ tall and when they fired up the heater, it felt like my head was on fire. I leaned away from the heater, and I felt like I was falling to my death. Hot and scary at the time. The layers of air were also totally stagnant, so we went straight up and straight down and up and down. I wish it felt more like this video, with the sound track.
