My morning schedule has been up in the air with the kids’ changing start times. Today, I was cleared to run in the morning. I woke up early fine, but the running felt really slow and sluggish.
It was zero dark thirty at 6:30am. Rose Bowl sign was still lit at night.
The sun was boiling behind the billowy clouds. It was a cool 50’s this morning, not too bad.
Trails along the golf course, and under the freeway, over the creek.
Tunnel through the dark to Devil’s Gate Dam.
Sun burst through around 7am.
I noticed that the MioLink dropped its connection to my Garmin 910. They said if your skin temperature is low, then it may have trouble seeing you blood. My skin actually was cold. My hands were cold. I flipped the sensor to the underside of my wrist and then pulled my base layer over the Mio. That seemed to help keep the connection.
This looks like such a pretty run! I love fitting in a trail run before work; it’s such a treat!
