My wife and I attending a fancy wedding at Pelican Hill in Laguna Beach. My wife is related to the mother of the bride. Coincidentally, there was another family wedding at the same time at Occidental College in Eagle Rock, for another cousin of my wife. We represented Irene’s family at the black tie affair and the kids with to the other wedding with my in-laws.

Pelican Hill is a finely appointed golf course, resort and spa overlooking the Pacific Coast. The wedding ceremony was in a rose garden on a perfect Southern California evening. It was a spectacular setting everyone there was beautifully dressed. Irene had a new gray evening gown and I had a new black suit and bow tie. Appetizers were amazing. We chit chatted with distant relatives from Boston and family friends from SoPas. The dinner was even more amazing. Beef and seabass. There were several desserts. The chandeliers were dripping with fresh cut orchids and roses. The open bar and silly friends made for a really fun night. Congratulations to Ally and Chris!
