Pasadena’s 127th Tournament of Rose Parade. Our tradition has been to walk around the floats before the parade starts, early on New Year’s Day. My daughter invited a couple friends along. It was cold ~40F, but that was 10 degrees warmer than last year. The floats are all covered with organic (plant or seed) materials. The South Pasadena Float, won the National Award, for Best Depiction of Life in USA past, present or future. We walked 3 miles up and down Orange Grove Blvd. Along the way, we saw a bunch of friends. Marvin, Lisa and kids. Philip and his daughter. The roses are impressive in person.
