Run at Dawn

6.2 miles, 1:05:55 moving time.

Lynda and I ran with Coach Steve. It was dark and in the low 40°F at the start, but the great part is the dawn breaking.

Waking up and starting with a hill up Seco, my heart rate spiked. I’ve never seen it over 170bpm for over 4 minutes. That’s wild. I’ve been trying to breath in through my nose and out through my mouth. This might help with the weather induced asthma. It seemed to help some. By our 3 mile mark, I was wheezing a bit. The second half was flat and down hill, so my breathing worked out okay.

Love my Blue/Green Altras. They’re working out great. Super light. No blisters. Good support. Added Lace Locks, cuz the standard shoe strings kept coming undone during a run.
