On a brisk LA morning (~40F), the club rode around every hill in Pasadena. We weren’t complaining about the weather, cuz Steve was back in LA visiting from the Polar Vortex in DC.
We started from Jones Coffee, headed east to Eaton Canyon and up to the top of Lake Ave. The real work started on Chaney Trail with 10-20% inclines. After which, Bill had a loose head tube and headed home. The rest rode west to Descanso Gardens, up Hampstead and Sugarloaf (10-15%). I was not feeling it today, and thoroughly surprised myself my making the whole ride. From Sugarloaf, we went up St. Augustine, and down to Linda Vista, up Glen Oaks, to the end of the world (the dirt). We finished off with Arbor. Wahoo.
