Happy New Year 2017!
Work goals
I’ve got some good news. I’ve been kinda sitting on this news for awhile, waiting for a good time to share it. I got a new job! I’m very excited about my new adventure. I’ll be designing ablation catheters for atrial fibrillation at a medical device company in Irwindale. I’m starting tomorrow 1/3/17. Wahoo!
Family goals
Our family vacation this year may be seeing some US National Parks, or visiting some college campuses.
Church goals
I’ve been asked to join a Mens Huddle at Christian Assembly. It’s a weekly mens meeting at church, which runs from Sept to May. I’ve been a part of it for several months and it’s been great to meet other guys of all ages and walks of life. There are two pastors which lead the program, and they’re great. The Huddle started with each of the 20 guys, sharing their personal stories. It was tremendously powerful to hear how God moved each one of us.
Triathlon goals
Since Ironman last year, I’ve agreed with the family to dial it down for 2017. No full Ironman. So… My A-Race is St. George Ironman 70.3 (that’s a half Ironman).
Running: Dial it up! My A-Run-Race is the Los Angeles Marathon! It’s 3/19/17, which is the day after my birthday. I’ll be 47. Wahoo.
Lastly, I’ll be serving on the Board for the Pasadena Triathlon Club as President this year.
