During the blitz of college visits in Boston, M and I walked around the city of Boston just for fun. We stayed at the Revere Hotel, which was very nice and centrally located. We walked to Boston Common and then followed the Freedom Trail all over town to the historic points of interest, including, Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere’s house, and the USS Constitution. Along the way, we snacked on a lobster roll. We walked through some of the new parks created by the Big Dig a few years ago. It was a beautiful sunny day on our fun day around Boston. The Leonard Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge is striking.
On another fun night stroll, after college tours, we walked over to Fenway Park and had dinner. We almost went to a concert at the House of Blues, but oddly, there was no scalper with extra tickets. Oh well. We also shopped around town too. I got some bargains at Banana Republic and at Primark.
