Triathlon Movie – My story

Here’s a video of my triathlon story. While it covers the Ironman Mont Tremblant 2016, it also tells my story how I got there. This is my journey from couch to finish line. It’s the story of a regular guy. When I started doing sprint triathlons, I never imagined doing the full distance Ironman. It took years and some amazing friends to even get me to the starting line.

But, Triathlon is a metaphor for life. It taught me to get my life in order. It taught me to prioritize what’s important in life. It taught me to set goals and commit to something big. I learned to always do my best, no matter what. Do the work even when I don’t feel like it; it will feel good later. I learned Everyday is something new and Just keep going. Leave the past in the past. Although the finish line is a goal, the journey is the transformation of a lifetime. I crossed the line by myself, but my friends make it possible to get there. Once there, I can inspire others to achieve something amazing in their life. I am thankful to my triathlon friends and my family that pushed and supported me through 2016 to finish Ironman Mont Tremblant. My Race Report is here.

Everyday is something new and Just keep going. Leave the past in the past.

Zack Johnson is a friend and filmmaker. He did an awesome job pulling this together. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
