My weekly ride with kids around town. 5-6 miles.

I posted the invite to friends around town on FB. MichaelP showed up on time, which was embarrassing, cuz we were running late. He was nice about it. We chatted about SP high school, since his daughters are there now. I hope that our weekly rides will encourage other dads, moms, and kids to come out and ride together every week.

Lesson: Riding with kids can be an opportunity to reach out to neighbors.

we stopped for a snack at La Monarcha Bakery.

Kids didn’t want to ride up the big hill to go home. so, we walked up the Snake Trail.
