There has a been a heatwave in SoCal forever. It was steaming hot to start and just hotter.
We rode west Pasadena, passing the Norton Simon Museum, which has Rodin’s Thinker on the front lawn.
Eagle Rock – Glendale. Palm trees and blue skies. How cliche.
Riding up the back side of Griffith Park to the Observatory. Down the Hollywood Hills side, just below the famous sign.
We rode along the Los Angeles River Trail. The trees in the river are getting pretty big. There’s actually birds in the water now.
It was 101F by the time we got back to Eagle Rock. Bill got a flat close to his house. I was dog tired when I got home.
