Long Swim

2025 yds, 40:42 time

Rose Bowl Aquatic Center. Dark and cloudy. Warm Water.

I finished Main Set 3x (50 hard + 150 easy, 100 hard + 100 easy).

Short Warm Up. Long Cool Down. I had some extra time and kept going until I went over the 2000 yd. I had the pull buoy between my legs for the CD. Easier and no kicking.

On my left wrist, Garmin 910xt keeps good lap, distance, stroke count.

On my right wrist, Mio Link blinks my heart rate zone. Since the Garmin 910xt doesn’t record heart rate in the swim mode, I wear the Mio in the pool just to watch my heart rate. It blinks 5 colors for heart rate zones. That way, I know I’m really trying or just floating.

Training plan. I’m still working on matching my actual workout times and planned workouts. The kids’ schedules are settling down now, so I can plan ahead better and plan on more regular workout times.

Renewed my RBAC membership. Renewed my Trainingpeaks.com membership. sheesh. it’s expensive doing this triathlon stuff.
