My son had a soccer tournament in Torrance. Between games, we made the most of Torrance. I love Japanese food. We had Crepe and Cafe Fujiyama. I had a beautiful square bowl of Katsu-ji. We had sweet crepes for dessert, a chocolate and banana creme, and a very berry creme. We drove around and saw a boobology shop, hehhe. We also went to the Matsui grocery complex, complex because it is way more than just a grocery store. They have all the sushi grade fish in the market and a few cute shops around the edges, desserts and knick knacks. The next day of the tournament we had curry house and stopped by Kings Hawaiian for the Paradise Cake. This used to be my favorite cake in the world, with passion fruit, guava, and lime layers and puree on top. (now my favorite is the chocolate hazelnut at Urth Caffe). Btw, the pineapple is life size, see people in the background for scale.
