On a warm summer evening, I swam with the Golden Road Aquatics masters at Verdugo Park in Burbank. I swim harder with people in my lane. I actually try to kick too. Usually, I don’t kick, cuz triathletes save their legs for bike and run. I saw a few friends over there. Mike, Gregg, Paul, Adam. Met a few new friends too, Luca. I had to pick up my GoPro that I left at the pool over the weekend. The water is noticeably warm. The public pool at Burbank keeps a cover at night to reduce evaporation, but it traps the heat and it snowballs the heating effects in the summers, er fireballs the effect. Anyway, I was sweating in the pool, and that’s a little weird.
On my way home, I drove through Eagle Rock, CA. And in case you’re wondering why they call it Eagle Rock…
