Long Run – Switzer > Clear Creek > La Canada Descent

9.8 miles, 1:39 moving time, 2300 ft descent

Lynda and I ran down the mountain, in preparation for next week’s Revel Canyon Half. We left one car at Panera Bread and then drove up the Angeles Hwy to Switzer Picnic and parked. We ran down the 10 miles. It was day light saving last night so we got an extra hour of sleep and a lot more sunshine this morning at 7am. It was down right hot by the time we got back to La Canada. We grabbed a snack and drove up to pick up the car again. Beautiful Clear Sunny California day. Wow. My left ankle was acting up around mile 8. But, it was a good warm up for next week. Most of the run is a constant 6% descent.
