Every year we host a Christmas Party for our neighborhood friends. As a potluck we cooked a rib roast and a Nutella bread pudding. There was a baked salmon, firecracker chicken wings, cheesy potatoes, kale salad, cheese plate, lemon bars, meatballs and butternut squash. 

We met all the families at my daughters kindergarten class and through the elementary school. So they have at least a 10th grader and another sibling. The kids played card games while the parents chatted. 

We take a big group picture every year. And there a white elephant gift exchange. The kids did a secret Santa gift exchange. 

Fun times. The kids are big. One of them is taller than I am.
