We host my wife’s side of the family for Christmas Eve. For the potluck, we roasted a turkey. We brined the turkey according to Good Eats Roast Turkey by Alton Brown. It works great: Tasty, juicy, with colorful skin. Cousin Sophia and Andrew had a new baby a few weeks ago. He was by far the center of attention. The kids passed out the gifts and then opened all the gifts. We took a family picture all together.
