Another beautiful and wonderful photo-journalism piece by Strava. This was the 2016 Dwars door Vlaanderen, a stage race through Belgium. The preamble was poignant in light of the recent terror attacks in Brussels. I find the photos of the cyclists very inspiring. The cycling photos are so dynamic. The background and composition of the photos are breathtaking. You can feel the weather and the speed. I find the photos of the spectators enlightening. It shows was the everyday men and women look and feel like during a local race. It’s a snapshot in time, contrasting the speed of the racers with the country folks pausing their day to watch and cheer.
