We met at Starbucks in Sierra Madre, then rode through Arcadia, Monrovia and Duarte to pick up more friends at Encanto Park. When I looked out my window this morning the dark clouds made me wonder how much gear to wear. By the time we got to Encanto, the sun was out and it was great riding weather. Vest and sleeves.
Sierra Madre: Bryan, Peter, Amy, Rob, Brent, Lynda, Dave, Michel, Steve, Gregg, Henry and me.
Encanto: Luis led the Coached Ride. Jon, Mike, Kelsey, Tom, Kin, and friend.

Dave broke a spoke when we crossed Rosemead. The spoke flung around and mangles the rear derailleur and stuff. He made it back okay.
Ride was short and sweet, since a bunch of us are running Surf City Half Marathon tomorrow morning.
So, there was nice time for coffee post-ride.
