Short, fast, local ride. We were really moving fast this morning.

We met in Sierra Madre and rolled over to Encanto Park. We rode down the San Gabriel River Trail to Whittier. We switched over to Rio Hondo River Trail at the Bosque del Rio Hondo. We saw some more PTC members prepping for Ironman. Rich, Peter and Jonathan were on their solo long rides. Alvin was back from Ironman Mont Tremblant, wearing new jersey.

The Whittier Narrows was burned out from last week’s brush fire.
