[From October, cuz life got busy to post] Big night out with my Mom at Josh Groban concert at the Dolby Theater. We walked around Hollywood before the concert. It was great to spend time chit-chatting with my Mom. When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time with my Mom. I had friends at church but not at school. So my Mom and I hung out a lot together. We would go to the Glendale Galleria when it was new circa 1978. The Dolby Theater is where the Academy Awards are held. We talked about old movies we liked. It’s part of the Hollywood and Vine Complex, shopping and dining. We had a Japanese Poke dinner. The Dolby is also next to the Gruman Chinese Theater, where there’s famous hand and footprints. It’s also along the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We read the name of the actors and entertainers that we liked. After the concert, we went across the street for an ice cream at Ghirardelli’s. We talked about the Ghirardelli’s in San Francisco and the family trips there many years ago.
Josh Groban Concert: Stages. Although Josh hasn’t been in a Broadway Musical, he can belt them out. ‘All I Ask of You’, from Phantom of the Opera was my favorite. Josh is a lovely singer, fun, affable. His dad played trumpet for ‘That Old Devil Moon’.
