On Saturday night Dec 23rd, we hosted our annual South Pasadena families Christmas Party Potluck. The bunch of the kids are seniors now. It will be very different next year. I hope they all come home for Christmas next year.

On Sunday night Dec 24th, we hosted Irene’s side. The Lius, Tangs, Wongs. Spareribs, meat balls, Chinese veggies. I got special chips in spicy flavors from Brother in Law Dave and Rina.

On Monday, Christmas Day, Our family exchanged a few presents. Braden got a Snorlax; Madeleine got a sloth; and Irene got a piggy. Then, we cooked a bunch of food for Christmas. I baked a special apple pie for my mom, with different kinds of apples: Opel, Envy, Grannie Smith, and Pink Lady.

We saw my mom and dad at the Solheim Nursing facilities. My mom and dad a slice of my apple pie and opened cool books from Rebecca and Ron.

In the evening, we had dinner at the Ahlers house. Irene made a Nutella Bread pudding. Ron cooked the beef to a perfectly medium rare. I even got a bone. P made lovely scalloped potatoes. Tony brought a yummy Dulce de Leche.
