Providence on Melrose, Culinary Adventure Part 2

For Part 2 of our culinary Adventure, we took it up a notch and went to Providence on Melrose. It was #1 on Jonathan Gold’s LA Restaurant List for the past 4 of the last 5 years. We got the Chef’s Menu and it was amazing. Hands down, the fanciest, tastiest, best looking, best tasting food I’ve ever had. We invited our dear friends Rob and Daphne with us and they enjoyed it even more than we did. I think they could pick out ever ingredient.

The wait staff would present each dish, ingredient by ingredient. There were always fresh forks for every bite. Unbelievable. The menu says that you need at least 3 hours for the Chef’s Menu, because it just keeps coming and coming.

Here’s the menu. We a few extra dishes too. It was so good.

My Favorites: Tofu foie gras custard, lobster, wagyu (of course), quince cranberry granita.
