Hey folks,
If you haven’t signed up it’s not too late and it’s free! Just put your name on the race spreadsheet! For those of you doing Virtual, any 13.1 course will do as long as it has positive net elevation.
Here are the details for Fecta Race #2 “The Beach”.
This is a double “Out and Back” course. 3.3 miles out and then return and repeat. Many of you have run on this beach path many times but for those of you who haven’t I’ve added some notes below. I’ve tried to make this route as simple as possible.
I’ve made a slight change to the start\finish and the turnaround so please view the course notes below.
I might be just a spectator as a gallon ice cream container fell on my toe last night when I opened the freezer. I think it’s broken….. ugh!

- We will have a cooler with water at the start/finish line of the course so you can grab a bottle when you finish the first 6.6 miles and head back out for the 2nd half. You can also stash your own hand bottle here if you want.
- There are plenty of bathrooms all along the beach path and near the start line.
Course Notes:
Please review the course route on strava. Using the “Satellite” view will be of some help. Pay attention to the turn around point at the end of the jetty. I’ve included some notes below.

Start Line and Parking

There is a minor navigation area at the pier just before Mile #1. Just don’t go down the pier!
There is also one pedestrian crossing just before mile #2. Watch for traffic.

The turn around point at mile 3.3 is the end of the Jetty.
Now head back to the start and repeat!
After everyone has finished we will head to a nearby brewery to have a well deserved meal and beverage on their LARGE AND WELL SPACED OUTDOOR PATIO!Optional of course!Ballast Point Brewing Long Beach
