Fun Day in La Jolla Cove

We went for an quick overnight trip to La Jolla, CA (San Diego). We stayed at the Grande Colonial Hotel, which is a block from the La Jolla Cove. Hotel is an old school 1913 hotel, with charm. Old door knobs. Fluffy beds.

We checked in briefly and walked down to the Children’s Pool, just in time for a sunset view of the sea lions, birds and waves. We crawled around the rocky cliffs and watched the sea lions flop around the sandy beach.
