We went to South Pasadena‘s Art Crawl Saturday night. Our church Mosaic hosted two spots.
Slime Factory was a great spot for kids and the young at heart. A really fun space. I worked on the pool noodle explosion in the front window. Everybody mixed their own slime with color, sparkle, and googly eyes. And then you hang the slime on the floating hexagons. There was a ribbon cave and some snacks hidden in the back.
The second Mosaic installation, Dancing in the Clouds, was in the corner of the Rialto Theater. In a dark foggy room, dancers emerged to the sunrise, leaping to the music of the MSC’s Into the Unknown. Super cool lighting effects. There were some peekaboo windows for those that couldn’t get inside.
