Warm Saturday Morning. Club ride started at Jones Coffee in Pasadena. Rode East to Sierra Madre, Up New York to Eaton Canyon and wiggled up and around to the top of Lake. We descended and then climbed up Chaney Trail. We rode across to Descanso Garden, met a grumpy sheriff along the way. Rode up to Montrose. Fast descent along La Canada. At Glendale College, David and a group of riders met a very unpleasant driver*. Last major climb up Linda Vista, then finished up with Arbor, cuz we eat hills for brunch. Coffee and snacks at Jones. Perfect day for a ride. Well done to the guys that got Chaney Trail done for the first time!
*Remember to be safe and sane out there. We do our best, but there are aggressive drivers out there. Unfortunately, David sustained injuries and insults at the hand of that guy. Best wishes to you, on a speedy recover. We offer anything we can to bring the guy to justice. Choose happiness even in the midst of unpleasant circumstances. Sorry that it happened. But, we’ll get through it.
