On a very warm fall morning, the club climbed all the mountains around Pasadena. With Sue as the ride leader this weekend, she challenged the A Riders to kill each other to the top of Chaney Trail, for a Jones Coffee gift card. Peter dropped his chain and just toyed with Mark, Bert, Larry, and Eric, pulling it out in the last 20-30 yds. Fun times: Congrats, Peter. Kirk had a mechanical on the way down. Mark had a slow leaker too and headed back. The rest of us rolled through La Canada, Glendale, and Pasadena. Finishing off with Arbor for dessert. Larry cheered us all the way up. Snacks and colds drinks back at Jones Coffee. Great ride.
